Absolutely disgusting!!! What is going on at this rest stop! I have stopped here many many times over the years and it has always been clean! We stopped here Monday July 8,2024 and it was horrifying!!! This pile of garbage was obviously unattended for quite some time and the hordes of rodents around the building and the garbage pile were gross and disgusting! What a filthy disgusting disgraceful mess! And this is a PROVINCIAL rest stop!!!!! I refused to even get out and use the facilities, great impression to tourists Alberta🤢🤮😡

It would be a better review but the parking lines are worn away. Other drivers didn't park properly so it limited the available space.

Decent place for stopping...now if only we could get people to read...TRUCKS to the left, CARS AND RVS to the right. There is very few places for trucks to stop and too many people are taking away where they can stop by not reading a sign...there are even ARROWS so you don't have to think too much!!!!

Picnic area behind the building. Most tables are in sunny areas, but closer bro the building are a few tables in the shade.

It feels like ''maps'' has asked me about this place three times. Each time, ''it is good for you and your dog.''
One thing.
This is a dog friendly place. More than once, I have seen some poor soul ''lose there nut'' when confronted with a friendly dog on leash or not.
Beware!
Maybe post a sign on the road in.

Just want to note- THERE IS NO RESTAURANT.... but the washrooms are clean and the Greenspace is nice.

Ps... the water is not portable at this location! - I assume they mean not potable, but one can never really tell 😉

This is a convenient roadside stop. Bathrooms are clean. Exit from highway and reentry are good. Area is well set up to stop and relax for a while.
