Star mechanical did the mechanical installations in my new house, and it recieved compliments from another plumber on the installations. Had them come back for some warranty stuff, and tech gave me a complete tutorial on how the hvac worked together to ventilate the house and how it worked with the showers. Didn't have to do that. Thanks Bobby.
This is a follow up, after he checked out the warranty stuff, he was really trying to cover up some flaws in my range vent. Found out later that he was covering for a fellow worker, and that it all had to be ripped out and redone as my microwave/range vent could not be installed. Tried to get them back, through pacesetter homes, but not a peep for a month. Have to change the review, and would not call them again.
Here's an update, it took a while, i just put in a request and waited for an answer. A month later they showed up and fixed it all up. Give kudos where they're warranted. Thanks guys

We just moved into Keswick to our house in Keswick and we needed to have our furnace checked and serviced. I called Sat Mechanical because they installed our furnace. I was glad I did the service man was great and answered all of my questions. My dog even loved him.

Came home Wednesday evening, and our furnace wasn't staying on. We called our builder and they had Robert come to save the day. even though i figured out it was ice buildup deep in the furnace exhaust( and managed to get it all out). He came the next day as soon as he could to check on things. I have to say the original design was pretty silly. It was a horizontal PVC that was perfectly level, sticking 2 feet from our house, facing a pond... Robert did great and was so professional. He shortened the exhaust and added a "T". He also took the time to add insulation to part of the furnace inside and ended up noticing that one of the valves was blocking our furnace door from opening all the way and turned it to allow us to fully open the door. ALL in ALL Robert was an awesome dude. The company should change their name to ALL STAR mechanical just because of this guy.

Star Mechanical installed a hot water tank a year ago in my home, they were so responsive and took care of it the next day. 11 months later I had them replace my furnace, they were quick and prompt, very nice to deal with. Talked to them about AC installation also at that time, so they installed the coil and piping in the new furnace and arraignments were made for them to come back in May to do the outside work and tie everything in. I started emailing and texting the first of April as to planning for install, my emails were answered in the same manner each time. We will call you tomorrow!
I never received a call once, this went on for 6 weeks or more, 7 emails and same reply. I finally left a message on the website and received a call the following day from Christina Mills, I was made to feel like I was bothering them and wasn’t the most pleasant individual to deal with.
The outside install was done finally in June a week later than I was told as it was canceled last minute.
There workmanship on the install was beautiful, but they never tied in the electrical or the thermostat, they said maybe the next day and wondered if I could do it.
It has now been 2 weeks with zero correspondence to any of my texts or emails.

I am at a lose for words, was so happy with them and my balloon has burst!

This is the truth and only the truth I have no reason to lie or change facts, all emails and texts have been saved in case someone has issues

Contacted Star Mechanical multiple times during and after the cold spell we had in January. My water lines had frozen and I was lucky that they did not burst. When investigating the problem, my husband and I had noticed an extremely cold draft coming through where the gas line was installed (by Star Mechanical). They had cut through my insulation and did not properly re-insulate it before completing the job. Not to mention, they left a mess during the initial instaIlation of the gas line. For a new house, I was extremely disappointed in their service. I had tried contacting Star Mechanical multiple times to see what could be done about this. I left many voicemails and even sent an e-mail with the pictures of the job that was done. I got no reply or follow up to my inquiry. The first e-mail didn't go through, so I had contacted the receptionist at the desk letting her know of this problem-her response back to me was "well I don't know what to tell you, that is the e-mail". She then hung up without saying anything else. I spoke with Corey briefly at the very beginning regarding this, and was told to send the e-mail and that a follow up will be provided. Again, no response, despite the e-mails and phone calls/voicemails. All in all, for how big this company is, I have not seen any responsibility being taken for this. Again, I am lucky that my pipes did not burst. My husband and I ended up packing new insulation. I would not recommend this company for any type of job. They clearly do not take any responsibility for the job that is done and do not take any inquiries/concerns seriously. I am extremely disappointed and will never deal with this company again.

We needed an existing commercial washroom modified into a barrier free washroom. We contacted Star Mechanical, and was in contact with Cory Viney. Cory and his team did a fantastic job, their price was very competitive, great quality, and completed in a very short period of time as they had promised. Had Robert out today to look at our HRV system as our indoor humidity was insane. Amazing experience. Not only did he locate the problems but he walked me through what wasn't working and what needed to be fixed as well as why certain parts of our HRV were not being maximized to their full potential. He answered any questions I had and even took the time to properly educate me on how to use my system properly - things I should have been shown by the builder when I bought. He was understanding, accommodating and friendly the whole time! My houses humidity is completely sorted now and feels SO much more comfortable. And I feel far more prepared going forward with my HRV and furnace. Cant thank him enough for today! 5 star experience for sure!
