I had an incredible experience at Staples Fort Saskatchewan, all thanks to Gurprashad. From the moment I walked in, he went above and beyond to make sure I found exactly what I needed. Not only was he knowledgeable and efficient, but he was also unbelievably patient and genuinely kind. He took the time to answer all my questions, made great recommendations, and made what could have been a basic shopping trip feel like VIP service. If every employee had his level of professionalism and customer care, every store would be a five-star experience. Give this man a raise—he deserves it! 10/10 service.

I had an amazing experience at Staples in Fort Saskatchewan. The sweet lady who helped with the Amazon returns was amazing and so patient. I had many questions and took a while to get through all the returns and she continued to be patient and even help with a return from another carrier.

I drove an hour to this specific location for a blue Parker fountain pen, that was shown in stock (4 of them) on their website for several weeks. Before leaving I tried calling the store but no one answered. I then checked the website and it still showed the 4 in stock, so I drove all the way there. I looked in the section and couldn't find them. I asked the store associate Isaak and he effortlessly looked around and asked for the item number which I gave him, and he confirmed both the blue and black pens were in stock. He said he'll look in the back. I started wandering around, and noticed he didn't even go into the back and was sloppily looking around. I approached him and asked him and he said it's a clearance item so it should be in the clearance section, and then proceeded to shrug and say they are probably stolen and they've written them off (which makes no sense because they wouldn't show in stock). I told him that I had driven all the way from Leduc and he just blankly stared at me, and walked away. As to not waste my trip, I asked him for the black one instead (which was also in stock - 4 of them); without looking he said that was also put on clearance (which is also not true). I questioned as to how 8 pens could be completely missing and he just shrugged. Left without any option, I made the effort to try to find them to no avail. On the way out I asked him if the black pen was up on the shelf (where he had looked earlier) and he said no and walked away. Needless to say it was a complete waste of a trip.
These are not Bic pens, they are sought out expensive pens. For him to shrug it off and just assume 8 pens are stolen without making a proper effort to look for them is completely unacceptable. This is why most people don't go in to stores anymore and buy everything from amazon. Needless to say I won't be shopping at a Staples for anything ever again, and I will be filing a complaint to your corporate office.

Went in to buy a printer, Garret helped me personally while the other staff made me feel welcomed and noticed! Even though they were busy he helped me and made me feel heard and not rushed! I really would recommend this staples! Garret was so helpful, knowledgeable and kind! Wonderful experience 🙂

Overall I have had some good customer service at this location but the frumpy older woman working behind the counter today was super unfriendedly and rude. If she does not like working for Staples she should find different employment.
She snapped and scowled at me after I thought someone budded in the line as I did not see her coming to the till.
The products that we bought was great but we will take our business to a different Staples Location.

Chloete, Garret and Chris demonstrated outstanding customer service helping me purchase office equipment today. Chloete went above and beyond with her patience (I had many questions)and her cheery attitude. Garret is very knowledgeable and had creative solutions and outstanding customer service. Chris was energetic and helpful getting all my purchases organized and out to the car with care. Thank you Staple Ft Sask!

On September 25, I was helped by a man named Ryan with my Amazon return. He was slowly putting the wire dish rack I was returning into a shipping bag. I held the bag open a little for him since he was having trouble. Once he realized it wouldn’t fit, he started to tape the bag to the top of the rack.

I don’t mind waiting, but he was taking a long time, so I politely asked if he could scan my return and I could leave it with him. That was a mistake which I instantly regretted. He was quite defensive and told me that there is a process he has to follow. I’m assuming due to his defensive response that he has been asked this before. So I watched as he continued to slowly tape the bag to the top of the dish rack. It seemed like he really started to take his time because he was annoyed with me.

Then he received an email on his Apple Watch and stopped to read it as I stood there watching him and waiting. That was the icing on the cake, that’s just being downright ignorant.

TOTALLY INCOMPETENT. Garrett tried to help with a FedEx shipment. Turns out it went Purolator instead. $196 for overnight delivery to the States, 24 hours later, it hasn’t left Edmonton. DO NOT TRUST YOUR PACKAGES TO THESE PEOPLE.
