I am on the board of directors for a condominium unit in Calgary and my portfolio is mechanical maintenance. For the past 2 1/2 years, I’ve had the pleasure of working with the technicians from Prevent Mechanical. I’ve had direct interactions with Kirby, Dustin, Brent, Derek, Jace, Alex, Adam, Larry, and Joe. They are professional, friendly, hard working, and have a great work ethic. They take pride in any job, big or small, and arrive quickly in emergencies and on time for appointments.
Prevent also has a dispatch team that is second to none. Krystle, Colleen, and Janessa take every phone call seriously. They are professional and always very helpful.
I highly recommend Prevent Mechanical for large projects and smaller jobs.

I have been working with Prevent since 2019 they are great to deal with. Dustin does our monthly maintenance inspections and he is very good, detailed and always makes sure that I understand his findings. Krystle and Janessa always answer emails promptly and book us in timely manner.

Had a shower repair and a toilet repair done by Dustin today.
Have had Dustin do work in our Condo and our neighbors before as well and he has been 100% courteous, knowledgeable and explained the problems and how he was going to rectify the problems.
Prevent Mechanical and Dustin are the best in my opinion.

Jace showed up to fix my apartment thermostat attached to a boiler system. He was thorough, made sure it was working properly before he left and answered all my questions in detail. It’s an old building and he identified and fixed a few problems and gave me advice on some others while he was here. Friendly attitude and professional work.

I want to thank Alex and Dustin for their recent work in my condo building. They cleared up many of my confusion about the series of leakages. Both of them are patient with my questions.
Condo owners with leaking issues should better be present on site and ask the mechanics questions.

These people are criminals. It seems every time they come to “inspect” water leaking they charge over $400 and it’s always an emergency. I own a condo on the ground floor and ended up with over $2000 in charges to fix water pooling near the AC unit. On the invoice it says “patio not graded properly and drain not terminated correctly.” They basically put ugly piping from the unit onto the grass and proceeded to charge another $1200 for this. I Was also charged twice for a locksmith to enter the unit to “fix” the problem. Air conditioners are outside no need to enter a unit without any notification, shut off breaker is outside. This is the company Diversified Management uses, so I basically had no choice in who condo management uses as well as no courtesy call to even let me know they are coming. Do Not use this company, they have no clue what they’re doing and do whatever they want without your permission and charge whatever they want.
