I've been living in Chestermere for 6 years and have been a frequent customer of Lake Chestermere T&M for all my oil change/tire rotation/new tire and brake replacement needs across my 2 vehicles and most recently a battery replacement for my parents Rogue. In all my experiences Stew and his crew have been nothing short of fantastic at what they do. I have never met more honest mechanics in my life. I have brought my vehicle into this shop a few times and it has been frustration after frustration. They are disorganized and dismissive. They commonly forget I have even dropped my vehicle off, and I have to call them to remind them to actually work on it. Even then, they have kept it overnight and not even looked at it, not doing any of the work we had agreed on. To top it off, they cannot keep track of important documents for their clients, so don’t expect any records to be properly recorded.

Would recommend not wasting your time here.

I’ve brought 3 of my 5 cars here with all good experiences until today when the owner lost his cool and embarrassed me in his shop telling me not to bring my car back after one of his employees cross threaded a stud putting a tire back on.

I am a red seal body tech over 10 years.. saw what the employee did and explained it to him pointing at the shiny threads he just made as he was confused why it was getting stuck.

When a senior tech came over to show the guy what a thread chaser is and how to quickly fix it, the owner came out to yell at them.

I waited patiently.. at the end he asked for a little more money to compensate them for the time so I paid it without causing a fuss and right afterwards told me not to bring my car back and blamed the issue on the car. (I’ve had it two years with 0 issues taking off and on rims)

This is a failure of leadership and could’ve been handled much better. If you yell at employees for helping each other out then you should expect slip ups like this to happen and blaming it on the customer is unacceptable.

This was my second time bringing this same car for tires and the first time had no issues as a different tech was working on it and I dealt with the receptionist so I never would’ve imagined being told to leave by the owner as a return customer.

I liked the owner, but when he’s your best friend one minute and telling you to get out the next for a small worker error that leaves a bad taste and I’d just say beware.. you can have a mixed experiences here.
