What is wrong with the email ? I needed a bearing casing for a pump. I emailed the sales rep who quoted me, with a hard copy PO and never heard anything back from him. Tried calling but the phone just rings and if you leave a message no one ever calls you back. Terrible service,.

Exceptional!

I brought my circa -1985 Thermidor over the range hood fan motor to James Electric. The unit had worn out and replacement parts for repairs were “obsolete”, having been out of production for years, maybe decades.
So I was faced with replacing the entire built-in range hood or finding someone with the knowledge, expertise, and willingness to undertake a full rebuild. For many reasons, this was going to be really, really challenging, but the culture at James is deeply rooted in a commitment to overcoming challenges and finding solutions.
From the onset, my experience with Ryan, one of the shop managers, was exceptional. His attitude was “we’ll take care of you” - not something you hear often, if ever, these days.
As for the rebuild itself, the team from James Electric’s technical proficiency and commitment to quality is truly extraordinary; they exhibited the highest level of skill and knowledge, ensuring that the work was completed with precision and efficiency.
Upon completion, the rebuild I received was literally better than new: works perfectly, and bonus, it was beautifully cleaned, stripped, and re-painted even - see photo.
You’d be hard-pressed to find this level of commitment to quality of work and dedication to customer satisfaction. Thank you so much, James Electric, for a job exceptionally well done!

Absolutely amazing service. I don't live in the area and have never purchased anything from them, however, when I reached out for questions regarding a pump for lawn irrigation, they were quick, professional, and more important helpful. Wish they were close by as they would be my go to place.... nice to see a high level of service now a days.

I have dealt with James Electric in the past and was pleased with the service. I am completely blown away with this last invoice. $605.27 for 4 hours of labour to put a push button drum switch on my motor. I brought in the wire. I brought in the switch. I have done these myself in the past with a regular drum switch, and I can do it in under 1 hour. I have done dozens of them. This was a new switch to me so I brought it in to them since I am also busy on other projects. Shop supplies were $27.45 as well. What supplies I provided everything needed! NOT PLEASED at all! I don't think I'll be going back for any other work. I could see one to two hours of labour, but four

My furnace motor went kaput and I needed one bad as it was-16 today. Being a long weekend didn’t help. Everyone was closed Saturday so I was extremely grateful for the help from Derek. A very kind and considerate man. Helped me immensely. I had phoned Carrier since it was a Carrier furnace but they wanted twice as much. Definitely recommend James Electric. When I phoned I had talked to a girl in the back who gave me advice I needed and then transferred me to Derek at the order desk. These people are fabulous.
