Neil from Eddytime Mechanical Services was just here to take care of an excessive heating problem in our condo.

He arrived quickly from the time we called, and was able to assess, diagnosis and fix the problem with our Honeywell Pro series thermostat. This was completed in less than an hour.

Neil was very professional and clearly new how to deal with this excessive heat issue related the Honeywell Pro series thermostats which he advised are highly rated in the industry.
I also appreciated that Neil took the time to explain what the problem was and what he did to correct it. He also tested the thermostat and the heating system to ensure everything was working properly now. This information will be helpful in monitoring the issue in case the same problem recurs again.

This was excellent technical and professional work. As well, Neil also has oustanding customer service and communication skills.
We know who to call in the future.

I’ve been using Eddytime Mechanical Ltd. for years and have generally been satisfied with their service in the past. However, my recent experience was disappointing.

I called them to fix a leak, and after the service, I was told the issue was resolved. Unfortunately, the leak persisted as soon as the water was turned back on after they had left. When I contacted them about it, they offered to come back and fix the issue, which I appreciate, but due to my condo being sold and time constraints, it wasn’t possible for them to return. They then offered to waive the truck fee but still charged me the full price for an incomplete service.

I understand things can sometimes go wrong, and I do appreciate the offer to come back. It would have been one thing if the technician had communicated clearly that they were unable to fix the problem at the time of the visit. However, the fact that I was told the issue was resolved, only to find that the problem persists, is concerning.

While I’ve always appreciated their service in the past, this recent experience has left me reconsidering my options.

Neil is awesome. He is very professional and straightforward. My heater was not working so he checked the voltage in thermostat, checked the valves and figured out the issue within a minute.
He finished his job very neat and ensured there is no drop of water from the heater on our floor. He was careful and left place clean.
