Nous y avons passé une nuit dans une chambre familiale (5 personnes)||La chambre était vaste et confortable. L'accueil était sympa et le petit-déjeuner compris est correct. Très bonne literie. Par contre, j'ai enlevé un point car la fenêtre donnait sur...un mur! qui plus est agrémenté d'un échafaudage car l’hôtel est en travaux.||Piscine et jacuzzi très agréable

L'hôtel est un peu excentré mais Brooks n'étant pas touristique, on ne perd rien à être en bordure de la ville. L'accueil est chaleureux, le personnel souriant, et la chambre très propre, spacieuse, avec une literie confortable. Toutefois le petit déjeuner (continental, inclus dans le prix de la chambre) offre un choix assez limité. Le prix de la chambre est très raisonnable. ||A recommander sans réserve pour une nuit d'étape.

Facile d'accès et vous vous sentirez chez vous dans cet hôtel. Cuisinette bien équipée. Grande... non ... immense chambre avec salon et espace cuisine. Réservez sans hésité vous serez ravi. C'est propre et tout est parfait pour des voyageurs des parcs 🙂

Excellent hôtel avec des chambres spacieuses et confortables. Le personnel est impeccable, le petit-déjeuner et le parking sont compris dans le prix et en plus il y a une piscine, bref que demander de plus ?

What a great place to stay! We were there with a team and really enjoyed the hotel. The pool is great and clean, fun water slide, and there is a hangout room with games with windows facing the pool so you can escape the noise a little. The breakfast room is very nice with great food. Comfortable rooms and friendly staff.

A large pool to swim in and a hot tub that's actually nice and hot to sit in.
Comfy beds, warm showers. And shoutout to the most amazing receptionist Tina, you made our stay so welcoming and warming, thank you so much for your incredible hospitality!

I would strongly advise against staying at the Canalta Hotel in Brooks. The staff were incredibly rude and unprofessional, making the experience extremely unpleasant. They didn’t allow the kids to have any fun or enjoy their time at the hotel, and when we asked for simple accommodations, they were dismissive and unhelpful. For example, the fitness room is restricted to 18+ even when accompanied by a parent, which is just unnecessary.

The rooms were okay, but everything else was a letdown. The staff yelled at the kids, and when there was a hockey tournament, the team was told they couldn't leave their gear in the hotel after they had packed up at 11:00 AM, even though their game wasn’t until 3:00 PM. To make things worse, it was -15°C outside, so they had to leave their equipment out in the freezing cold! When the team tried to explain their situation, the front desk staff didn’t offer any explanation, just a flat-out “no.”

Breakfast was dry and unappetizing, and the pool hours were very restrictive—only open from 9 AM to 10 PM. And don’t even think about bringing water into the pool area; one of the staff members actually told a child they couldn’t hydrate!

Also, they kicked us out of the breakfast area even though we weren’t done eating. Not to mention the food was so dry. I’ve heard others had similar bad experiences here, so I definitely do not recommend this hotel. If you're looking for a better experience, try the Ramada—it’s much more accommodating and friendly. Avoid Canalta Hotel Brooks if you want a stress-free stay. Not trying to be picky here just trying to lookout for others.
