I am beyond grateful to Charlie and Neil for their incredible help in my recovery. After multiple surgeries on my right knee, I was left struggling to walk properly and uncertain of ever returning to my active lifestyle. However, after just five sessions with them, I experienced a significant improvement. By the end of the fifth session, I was not only walking without pain but also comfortably running at 15kph!

Charlie and Neil utilized some advanced technology during my treatment, which I believe played a crucial role in my quick recovery. Their expertise, combined with these innovative tools, made a huge difference. Even though I had to drive from Calgary to their clinic in Canmore every week, the experience was truly enjoyable and worth the trip. They were both incredibly supportive, patient, and always took the time to explain each step of the process.

I also want to express my deep appreciation to the entire team at Banff Sport Medicine, including my surgeon, Dr. Herd for their outstanding care and coordination. It’s clear that everyone works together seamlessly to provide the best possible outcome for their patients. I have been a client of Banff Sports Med since 2007 😀 I have had four different knee surgeries, a 4 rounds of synvisc in my knee and one round of sportvisc in my shoulder for various dirtbike injuries and always have the best experience. All the doctors are amazing, helpful and eager to get you back to your sport. I even find the office workers to be very patient and understanding. Would highly recommend if you are able to wrangle a referral to this clinic.

I recently had ankle surgery with Dr. Kopka, and despite a reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances (thanks, covid), she and her team worked quickly to get me in. Her calm and knowledgeable bedside manner was incredibly reassuring.

The Bow Valley is fortunate to have so many great physiotherapists, and I’ve been working with Aly Walford. Her knowledge, patience, and keen ability to understand exactly what I need have been instrumental in keeping me on the right track with my recovery.

Kariel, the bracing specialist, has gone above and beyond to help me find the perfect brace (more than once), you can tell she’s passionate about helping people.

Additionally, Kelly, the support staff and the front desk folks have always been helpful and welcoming.
